After you meet Reinhard in Rune Factory 5 you will learn that this knight is extremely dedicated to his job. He is noted to be a trustworthy companion and is fiercely loyal to the kingdom. if you like characters who play into the more than meets the eye trope, then you should get to know Reinhard.

How to increase Reinhard's hearts

Reinhard can be found at the Belpha Ruins where he spends most of his time with Beatrice. Speaking with him each day, as well as providing him with a gift, will help raise your Friendship level. You will also want to give him a gift for extra points on his birthday, which is on Autumn 30.

Favorite Items:

  • Strawberry Seeds
  • Cold Medicine

Disliked Items:

  • Crystals
  • Jewels

Reinhard is pretty easy to woo as he will accept strawberry seeds and cold medicine, two items that can be purchased easily from shops in Rigbarth. Once you are at heart level, 7 use the BTW Menu to confess to Reinhard. You can date multiple characters at the same time but only marry one.

The marriage option will become available once you have completed the following tasks:

  • Completed the three normal Reinhard's events, a pink icon will appear on their map icon notifying you of each event.
  • Completed Reinhard's final story event.
  • Met everyone in town.
  • Have unlocked and made an engagement ring.
  • Have him at ten hearts.
  • Have a double bed.

Once you have met all of these requirements, you will be able to propose to and marry Reinhard.
