Best Weapons in Yakuza: Like a Dragon

There are many great weapons for the jobs in Yakuza: Like A Dragon. You may be wondering which weapons are the best so you can model your team properly. Below, we provide the seven best weapons in the game, along with their stats. Each weapon's name includes the job a character must have to use it, so you can decide which characters to use based on the job. These are far better than any weapons you can pick up in the game, so be sure to put in the work for these.

7 - Chromium Alloy Club (Detective)

The purpose of a police club is not to hurt criminals permanently but to force them to stop what they are doing through pain. In this regard, the Chromium Alloy Club is very effective. It has a very high attack, increasing the critical hit chance of physical attack skills. It is the top-tier weapon for any detective, and you'll find yourself using it quite often.

How to get the Chromium Alloy Club

You'll first need a Carbon Police Baton from the Yokohama Underground Dungeon or 250 points from Maruhan. From there, you need to get a Club of Holy Might, which is a level 20 reward in the Sotenbori Battle Arena. Go to the romance workshop and upgrade your Carbon Police Baton to the Chromium Alloy Club.

Weapon stats

  • Attack - 319
  • Magic - 179
  • Healing - 229

6 - Demon Blade Muramasa (Bodyguard)

As you can imagine, a weapon named Demon Blade is pretty effective. Bleed is a high-damage effect that can be applied and isn't recovered from naturally. This weapon can effectively cause an enemy to have their health drain from being hit with it, so it's very useful.

How to get the Demon Blade Muramasa

First, you'll need to find the Nameless Katana, which Shige-san can give to the player at the end of Substory 21: Dumpster of Demise. Ask for the Shiny Black Object when Shige-san offers to give you trash. Alternatively, you can buy it from the Shogi shop for 500 points. From there, just get the Sakura Storm by buying it from Kamulop for 50 Tojo Clan Crests and go to the Romance workshop to upgrade it.

Weapon stats

  • Attack - 333
  • Magic - 160
  • Healing - 229

5 - Special Ops Riot Shield (Enforcer)

The most effective offense is an even better defense, and the Riot Shield proves that. The Riot Shield is not really used for defense and is mostly more of a heavy object to smack people around with, but it's still incredibly deadly. This Riot Shield can also increase the damage of electric attacks.

How to get the Special Ops Riot Shield

First, you need to get the Bulletproof Shield from a silver safe in Geomijul HQ or purchase it from the Gambling Hall for 500 wooden tags. Then, you need to find the Absolute Shield from the Shogi Shop for 150,000 points. Go to the Romance Workshop and build the shield of your dreams from there.

Weapon Stats

  • Attack - 333
  • Magic - 225
  • Healing - 229

4 - Fake Ace (Dealer)

It's one of the sillier additions to this list, but the damage it deals isn't silly. The Fake Ace increases the chances of getting a good effect from dealer skills, but the best thing about it is its high stats. It may not be as good as those further down the list, but it can still be an effective weapon.

How to get the Fake Ace

To get the Fake Ace, you'll need to get the Tarot Cards and the Royal joker Card from the Casino for 100,000 points each. Alternatively, you can always get the Tarot Card as a reward for the Bento and Bonsai Delivery part-time hero quest. You can also purchase the Royal Joker for 10 million yen at Le Marche.

Weapon Stats

  • Attack - 333
  • Magic - 225
  • Healing - 318

3 - Heaven and Earth Hammer (Foreman)

The Heaven and Earth Hammer is very close to being the most powerful weapon on this list. It'd be the top weapon if not for its lack of healing. The best part about the Heaven and Earth Hammer is that it does more damage when doing blunt attacks, which makes a lot of sense.

How to get the Heaven and Earth Hammer

You need to get a Rusted Hammer from the Batting Cages to get the Heaven and Earth Hammer. It costs about 500 points, but you'll need to have 30,000 points in the Batting Cages to get the Starcrusher to upgrade the Rusted Hammer to a Heaven and Earth Hammer.

Weapon stats

  • Attack - 344
  • Magic - 160
  • Healing - 307

2 - Whip of Pleasure (Night Queen)

This Whip of Pleasure is anything but pleasurable. It is one of the strongest weapons in the game and is second only to the best weapon in the game. In addition to its already unimaginably high Attack stat, it boasts a very high Magic and Healing stat. Every normal attack you make will give you a health boost as well, which is pretty cool.

How to get the Whip of Pleasure

First, you need to get the Sadistic Whip from the Love Magic shop for 500,000 yen. Then, you must get the Electric Whip as a Level 26 reward from the Sotenbori Battle Arena. From there, take the weapons to the Romance Workshop and make the Whip of Pleasure.

Weapon Stats

  • Attack - 344
  • Magic - 232
  • Healing - 343

1 - Legendary Hero's Bat (Hero)

While it may seem silly, the Legendary Hero's Bat is nothing to be laughed at. With its high Attack and Healing stats, this weapon is incredibly powerful compared to all the other weapons in the game. For normal attacks, it gives you even more hits, which is great because you can rack up more damage for each combo.

How to get the Legendary Hero's Bat

You get the self-proclaimed Hero's Bat at the start of the game, but you have to upgrade it to become the Legendary Hero's Bat. The romance workshop will let you upgrade it, but you'll need to be level 30 before you can upgrade it this far.

Weapon stats

  • Attack - 344
  • Magic - 215
  • Healing - 332
